They Went That-A-Way & That-A-Way (1978)
Dewey and Wallace, two small-town sheriffs, are tasked by the governor to infiltrate a prison as inmates to track down a gang of thieves and their hidden stash. However, when the governor unexpectedly passes away, the duo finds themselves trapped in prison, as no one is aware of their undercover mission. With their cover now compromised, the pair must navigate the challenges of prison life while trying to uncover the truth behind the stolen loot and eventually find a way back to freedom.
