Overview

In 1967, innovative filmmaker Jorgen Leth produced a captivating short film titled The Perfect Human, featuring a man and woman confined in a box while a narrator explores themes of love and existence. Decades later, Danish director Lars von Trier strikes a unique agreement with Leth to reinterpret his film five times, each under distinct conditions and stringent guidelines set by von Trier. As Leth navigates these creative challenges, von Trier imposes progressively more complex and imaginative constraints, pushing the boundaries of artistic expression and collaboration.
