Rock the Casbah (2012)

Fresh faces in the military take on patrol duty in Gaza amid the First Intifada in 1989. Tensions escalate when a washing machine is mysteriously hurled from a rooftop, resulting in the death of a soldier. With the culprit elusive, four recruits are relegated to the monotonous grind of surveillance from the roof. As they watch over the area, their unexpected interactions with the Arab family residing below reveal deeper cultural dynamics and personal challenges, forcing them to confront their own beliefs and the complexities of their mission.
