Overview

Count Karnstein seeks medical help for his ailing daughter, Laura, who is believed by her nurse to be under the influence of the vengeful spirit of her ancestor, Carmilla. When a young woman is stranded at the castle due to a carriage accident, she becomes captivated by the eerie occurrences linked to Laura's condition. As their friendship deepens, Laura grows increasingly convinced that Carmilla’s spirit is driving her toward murder, leading to a chilling climax steeped in supernatural terror and intrigue.
