Road to Rio (1947)
Scat Sweeney and Hot Lips Barton, two struggling musicians, find themselves on a ship to Rio after inadvertently burning down a circus tent. Their adventure takes a turn when they meet Lucia, a woman contemplating suicide, who initially expresses gratitude but later betrays them to the ship's captain. Discovering that she's been hypnotized into a marriage of convenience upon arrival in Rio, the duo crashes the wedding ceremony, determined to thwart the nuptials and expose the criminals behind her predicament. Their comedic escapades lead to unexpected twists and a race against time.
