Robert visits his sick wife at a nursing home, but a fierce snowstorm leaves him unable to find a taxi home. Dr. Katherine, one of the physicians there, offers him a ride. Their car gets stuck in the snow, forcing them to spend the night in an abandoned cabin close by. As they talk, a connection forms between them, yet once the night is over, they struggle to turn that closeness into a real relationship.
