That Man from Rio (1964)
In "That Man from Rio," French soldier Adrien Dufourquet takes an eight-day leave to see his fiancée, Agnès. Upon reaching Paris, he discovers that her late father's associate, Professor Catalan, has been abducted by Amazon tribesmen who have also pilfered a valuable statue from the museum. Determined to rescue him, Adrien and Agnès follow the kidnappers to Brazil, where they uncover that the stolen statue holds the secret to a concealed treasure in the Amazon. Their adventure leads them deep into danger and intrigue amidst the lush jungles.
