Overview

As World War II draws to a close, a covert American operation led by Captain Webster Carey takes a disastrous turn when a traitor tips off the enemy. The botched mission results in significant civilian casualties, including what Carey fears is the death of his beloved, Giulia de Graffi. Upon returning to the States, he discovers clues that could reveal the informant's identity. Determined to seek revenge, Carey heads back to Italy, only to confront shocking revelations that challenge everything he thought he knew about loyalty and betrayal.
