Overview

After losing her husband in Afghanistan, Bryony attempts to forge a new life for herself and her young son, James. Overwhelmed by her grief, she overlooks James's troubling behavior—his secretive nature and obsession with death-themed play. When items begin to disappear and furniture gets damaged, Bryony initially suspects her son. However, confronting him reveals a horrifying reality that threatens to tear them apart. As her world unravels, Bryony realizes that reconnecting with James is the only chance to keep them together and escape the darkness enveloping their lives.
