Overview

After the Cold War's end leads to his dismissal, seasoned British agent Harry Palmer finds himself in a precarious situation. Russian mastermind Alex recruits him in St. Petersburg, revealing that a lethal biochemical weapon known as the Red Death has been stolen, jeopardizing his vision for Russia's future. Offering a lucrative reward, Alex enlists Harry to recover the weapon, which is rumored to be en route to Beijing by train. As the journey unfolds, alliances blur, revealing unexpected loyalties and hidden agendas among the players involved.
