Shadows of Death (1945)
As the railroad approaches Red Rock, tensions rise, prompting Billy to assist his friend Fuzzy, who juggles roles as sheriff, judge, and barber. When Billy's employer is murdered and a crucial railroad map goes missing, the investigation leads to broken matchsticks hinting at Vic Landreau’s involvement. Aware that Billy is closing in, Landreau plots to eliminate him. Caught in a deadly game of cat and mouse, Billy must navigate the dangers of the town and uncover the truth before it's too late.
