Instinct to Kill (2001)
Serial killer James Becket, having escaped custody, begins a deadly game of cat and mouse with his estranged wife, Theresa 'Tess,' and her family. Haunted by his father’s expectations, Becket uses his talent for deception to elude Detective Diffs and his task force. The only one who can stand against him is former cop J.T. Dillon, who has been teaching Tess self-defense and has developed a romantic connection with her. To draw them out, Becket kidnaps Diffs’ wife, setting the stage for a gripping confrontation that will determine their fates.
