Overview

A struggling rock singer feels dismissed by her band until a postcard from Japan saying "wish you were here" inspires her to take a leap of faith. With only a handful of cash, including her ex-boyfriend's rent money, she heads to Tokyo. There, she dives into a whirlwind of cultural experiences and serendipitous encounters.
