After her daughter suffers a head injury and slips into a short-term coma following a household accident in Winnipeg, Sara—a fiercely controlling Korean mother—flies from Seoul to Canada. Determined to protect her child from any future harm, she decides to take matters into her own hands by posing as a fake romantic interest online, hoping to arrange the perfect husband for her daughter without her knowledge.
