A LUCKY MAN honors Danish music icon Flemming "Bamse" Duun Jørgensen, known for hits like "Vimmer Street" and "Why Does Louise Go Dancing." Beneath his cheerful smile and signature overalls lies a heartfelt story of a man chasing love and recognition. Flemming "Teddy" Jørgensen was the only one of twelve siblings put up for adoption. His adoptive father wanted him to run the family factory, but Teddy chose music, becoming frontman of Teddy’s Friends. This fractured past leaves lasting scars. The film warmly tells his story, set to his greatest songs.
