The Blacksheep Affair

Overview

A dedicated Chinese policeman finds himself assigned to the fictional Eastern European nation of Lavernia as a consequence of defying orders during a plane hijacking. In this foreign land, he unexpectedly crosses paths with his former girlfriend, who sought refuge there following the Tiananmen Square protests. Their reunion becomes increasingly complicated when they draw the attention of a charming yet sinister leader from the Japanese cult Aum Shinryuu, plunging them into a web of intrigue and danger that tests their loyalties and resolve.
