Dezi Williams, a jazz saxophonist from Toronto, retreats into solitude, leaving behind his band to work as an instrument repair technician. Struggling with haunting memories, he grapples with a persistent jaw pain while trying to find peace. His quiet life is disrupted by an intrusive new neighbor, complicating his efforts to escape the past.
