You Have to Run Fast (1961)

Dr. Frank Harlow attempts to aid a man brutally attacked by gangsters, only to see the victim succumb to his injuries, leading to a murder charge against him. To escape the escalating danger, Harlow seeks refuge in a remote area, taking on the identity of clerk Roger Condon at a sporting goods store. His intention to stay under the radar is complicated when he develops feelings for the charming Laurie Maitland. Meanwhile, the ruthless criminals soon discover his whereabouts, putting his new life and love in jeopardy.
