Overview

Valentin D, a successful architect celebrated for his innovative designs, conceals a secret: he pretends to be an orphan to escape the stigma of his humble origins. Born to working-class scrap metal merchants in northern France, Valentin grapples with his identity and the shame associated with his past. As he navigates the glamorous world of architecture, he must confront his roots and the family he has distanced himself from, ultimately discovering the importance of acceptance and the bonds that tie us to our true selves.
