Overview

Dare and Roost, brothers raised in a reformatory, navigate life in West Los Angeles, each coping in their own way. Dare works as a detective, driven by a fixation on a shadowy criminal named Winky, while Roost immerses himself in classic John Wayne films, preferring a more reclusive lifestyle. As Dare cleans up the streets, he finds himself in a tense race against Detective Robert Morrison, who is also pursuing Winky.
