Eddie Weinbauer, a bullied teenager with a passion for heavy metal, idolizes rock star Sammi Curr. After Curr tragically dies in a hotel fire, Eddie receives a mysterious, unreleased album from him. However, when he discovers that playing the record backwards resurrects Sammi, things take a dark turn. As Halloween nears, Eddie grapples with the consequences of his newfound power, realizing the music that once inspired him now blurs the line between life and death, leading to unexpected and chilling outcomes.
