Overview

Opened in 1991 as Turkey’s first “eco” hotel, Naturland Eco Park and Resort ran until 2014 before shuttering under crushing debt. The film blends documentary, dark satire, and circus-like performance, using fictional voice-overs to follow guests and staff through the resort’s glory days and its slow, eerie decay. Now abandoned and untouched, the once-grand complex stands rotting—a ghost of its former pomp.
