Requiem for a Fighter

Overview

Lucas, a former Danish Army officer, arrives in Derry, Northern Ireland, to investigate the circumstances surrounding his estranged son's death. What he uncovers reveals a hidden side of his son's life, including his involvement with a group of fighters. Among them is Michael, who participates in illegal boxing matches to earn money, trained by Lucas, unaware of Michael's struggles with his sexuality. As tensions rise, Michael prepares for a final showdown against Brian Beru, the undefeated "King of the Gypsies." To have any chance of survival, Michael will need his father's support in this brutal fight.
