Overview

A man desperate to escape the clutches of his freeloading relatives fabricates a story about being a forger, successfully driving them away. His wife, thinking it’s all in jest, remains oblivious to the truth, which has inadvertently slipped from his lips. As the deception unfolds, he finds himself teetering on the edge of legal trouble, facing the looming threat of arrest. What began as a misguided attempt to reclaim his life spirals into a web of lies that could lead to dire consequences.
