Overview

Nestled in Northwest China, Shama Town is steeped in lore about hidden treasures buried by robbers. Eager to capitalize on this myth, town leader Tang Gaopeng aims to transform Shama Town into a bandit-themed tourist hotspot. However, his efforts yield disappointing results, with tourist numbers dwindling to nearly none. Amidst this, a band of international thieves arrives, drawn by the allure of the fabled riches.
