Meatballs (1979)
At Camp Northstar, an economically challenged summer retreat, head counselor Tripper embodies a youthful spirit, often matching the energy of the campers. When he meets Rudy, a shy boy struggling to find his place, Tripper takes on the role of mentor. Motivated to help his campers triumph over the rival Camp Mohawk in the yearly Olympiad, Tripper also navigates budding feelings for Roxanne, a fellow counselor. Meanwhile, Rudy steps into the role of matchmaker, aiming to unite Tripper and Roxanne as the summer unfolds with laughter, competition, and unexpected friendships.
