At the dawn of the 20th century, charming hustler Eddie Johnson secures a position at his friend and competitor Joe Rocco's bustling Coney Island nightclub. There, he encounters the club’s dazzling star, Kate Farley, a bold singer known for her extravagant style. Their initial clashes arise as Eddie attempts to refine her public persona. As Kate rises to fame, their chemistry deepens into a romance. However, Joe, intent on thwarting their future together, plots to disrupt their burgeoning relationship, leading to a tense struggle for love amidst the vibrant backdrop of Coney Island.
