In 2015, construction in Baden-Baden inadvertently resurrects a malevolent troll, once petrified in the 15th century. To conceal its true identity, the creature possesses Vanessa, enslaving her in the process. Under this new guise, Vanessa seeks out Charlie, the innocent boyfriend of her daughter, as the troll requires his blood to open a gateway to a mystical prison.
