Adam at Six A.M. (1970)
A disillusioned semantics professor from California receives news of a distant relative's passing in Missouri. Traveling cross-country for the funeral, he opts to stay for the summer and takes a job with a power-line crew. As he immerses himself in this new life, he unexpectedly falls for a local girl. Their budding romance compels him to confront his future and the choices that will shape his path.
