Dark Night of the Scarecrow (1981)
Bubba, a man with intellectual disabilities, faces wrongful accusations of assaulting a young girl. To escape the danger, he disguises himself as a scarecrow in a cornfield. However, he is soon discovered and brutally shot by a group of four vigilantes. When these men are exonerated due to insufficient evidence, they believe they’ve escaped justice. Yet, they soon find themselves targeted and hunted down, one after another, as a sinister presence begins to exact revenge for their heinous act.
