Overview

Slicker Smith and Herbie Brown, two small-time hustlers, inadvertently enlist in the Army while trying to escape the law. Their misfortune escalates when the police officer pursuing them becomes their strict drill sergeant. Meanwhile, a wealthy young man and his former chauffeur find themselves in the same unit, both competing for the affections of a charming woman who seems drawn to each of them. As the trio navigates military life, unexpected friendships and rivalries emerge, leading to humorous and heartwarming moments amid the chaos of boot camp.
