Overview

During World War II, a prisoner of war, Brooks, finds himself caring for an Asian elephant named Lucy at a Munich zoo. When American forces bomb the area, the zoo's director realizes it's too dangerous for Lucy to stay. He entrusts Brooks with her safety, prompting a daring escape. Together, they embark on a perilous journey across war-torn landscapes, determined to reach the sanctuary of Switzerland.
