The Absent One (2014)
In 2014 Denmark, ex-cop Carl Mørck, now leading Department Q, is approached by a distraught father seeking answers about the brutal murder of his twin sons from 1994. Despite a local man having confessed and been sentenced, Carl and his partner Assad uncover unsettling inconsistencies in the case. Their investigation reveals a tangled web of deceit, suggesting that the truth behind the tragic event is far more complex than it appears.
