Overview

In the bustling streets of New York City, influential newspaper columnist J.J. Hunsecker wields immense power through his Broadway reviews. However, he struggles to manage his younger sister, Susan, who is romantically involved with up-and-coming jazz guitarist Steve Dallas. Disdainful of their relationship, Hunsecker enlists the cunning publicist Sidney Falco to devise a plan to tear the couple apart, employing any means necessary to achieve his goal.
