Overview

Two children, Berenice and Brian, find their imaginations ignited by a book of local myths during their idyllic countryside upbringing. Berenice convinces Brian that she possesses the powers of a witch, fostering a deep emotional reliance on her. When she returns home for Christmas with a new boyfriend, Brian feels abandoned and betrayed. As tensions rise, a mysterious figure resembling the legendary Jake the Mid-Folker approaches, enveloping the family home in a chilling atmosphere. The looming question remains: is the true threat lurking outside, or does it lie within their own fractured relationship?
