Overview

Aki, a timid yet loyal boy, is committed to protecting his mute friend Fuyu, who is frail and ill. They reside in a dim underground refuge, along with their small group, following the eruption of Mt. Fuji. As their community grapples with sickness and hopelessness, Fuyu yearns to experience the outside world he can only dream of. His imagination is filled with wonder about what color the sky might be beyond their concrete confines. Together, they navigate their bleak reality while clinging to the hope of a brighter future.
