The Bat Whispers (1930)
Infamous thief known as "The Bat" pulls off an audacious jewelry heist amidst a heightened police presence. Shortly after, a bank robbery raises suspicions of his involvement. Cornelia Van Gorder welcomes several guests to her aging mansion, including her niece Dale, a bank worker, and Detective Anderson from the police. Tensions rise as mysterious murders occur among the guests, leading Cornelia to fear that The Bat might be hiding within her estate, turning her once peaceful gathering into a perilous game of cat and mouse.
