Himalaya (1999)
In a remote Tibetan village, preparations begin for the challenging annual journey to trade salt for grain. The community finds itself divided between the traditionalist chieftain, Tinle (Thilen Lhondup), and the ambitious young rebel, Karma (Gurgon Kyap). As the trek approaches, Tinle struggles to uphold his authority and the time-honored customs, while Karma's defiance threatens to reshape their way of life.
