Overview

Twelve-year-old Mully, grappling with his mother's death, discovers his father embezzling charity funds meant for her memory. Seizing the cash, he impulsively steals a taxi, only to find Joy—a no-nonsense lawyer grappling with unexpected motherhood and her intention to give her baby to a friend. Their chance encounter sparks an adventurous road trip across Ireland, filled with car thefts, hitchhiking, ferry rides, and evading police barriers. As they navigate their chaotic journey, Mully and Joy form an unlikely bond, both seeking solace and purpose in their turbulent lives.
