Overview

In "Something's Gotta Give," aging bachelor and music executive Harry Sanborn heads to the Hamptons with his young girlfriend, Marin, only to discover that her mother, acclaimed playwright Erica Barry, is also present for the weekend. Erica is appalled by Harry’s behavior and their relationship. However, when Harry suffers a heart attack, he is forced to remain at the Barry residence under the care of Erica and his physician. As they share space and confront their differences, a complex love triangle begins to develop, challenging their perspectives on life and love.
