A Song for You (1933)
While on tour, renowned tenor Riccardo Gatti encounters Lixie during a rehearsal for Aida, mistaking her for a ballet dancer. In reality, she is trying to secure a role for her boyfriend and reluctantly agrees to join Gatti for dinner. When she flees, he takes out an ad in the newspaper, promising to perform a concert at any location she picks if she appears. Lixie selects a swimming pool, hoping to deter him, but Gatti surprises her by willingly agreeing to the venue.
