Asterix the Gaul (1967)
Set in 50 BC, the Roman Empire is on the verge of conquering Gaul, yet a tiny village led by Asterix and his companions stands resolute against the invading legions. Their secret weapon is a magical potion crafted by their druid, which bestows incredible strength. However, when a Roman centurion discovers the existence of this potion, he abducts the druid in hopes of forcing him to reveal the recipe. Asterix and his friends must now devise a plan to rescue their druid and protect their village from Roman domination.
