Monster Beach (2014)

Jan and her brother Dean expect a carefree summer when sent to stay with their unconventional uncle, Woody, on a remote island. Initially, the idyllic setting seems perfect with serene beaches and perfect waves, but odd noises and a jungle-choked town soon raise questions. The shocking truth emerges: the locals are actually surf-obsessed monsters, initially hostile to newcomers. However, when a greedy developer threatens their paradise, the siblings and their newfound friends must unite, setting aside differences to protect their unique home from destruction.
