Overview

Jettel Redlich, a Jewish mother, escapes the horrors of Nazi Germany alongside her daughter Regina, seeking refuge with her husband Walter on a Kenyan farm. In contrast, young Regina quickly acclimatizes, developing a close friendship with Owuor, a local cook employed by her father.
