Overview

Michelle relishes her tranquil retirement in a quaint Burgundy village alongside her dear friend Marie-Claude. However, her serene life is disrupted when her daughter Valérie arrives from Paris, leaving her son Lucas for the school break. Overwhelmed by tension, Michelle mistakenly serves Valérie toxic mushrooms at lunch. Although Valérie recovers swiftly, she prohibits Michelle from seeing Lucas again. Consumed by loneliness and guilt, Michelle spirals into a deep depression—until the unexpected arrival of Marie-Claude's son, freshly released from prison, brings a new twist to her life.
