Overview

On the eve of his retirement, a seasoned CIA operative discovers that his former mentee has been captured in China and is facing execution the following day in Beijing. Alarmingly, the agency is contemplating allowing this to unfold to sidestep a diplomatic incident. Determined to save his protégé, the veteran must navigate a web of deception and danger, risking everything to thwart the agency's plans and rescue the young agent before it's too late.
