A Place in Heaven

Overview

A daring young officer returns to base after a perilous mission, drawing the envy of a religious Holocaust survivor who works as a cook's assistant. Believing that the officer's bravery secures him a place in heaven, the secular officer, driven by hunger, jokingly agrees to trade his heavenly spot for a plate of shaksuka. Fast forward forty years, the retired general lies on his deathbed, horrified to learn his son has embraced religion. Racing against time, the son must locate the cook and nullify the contract before his father’s final moments seal his fate.
