Overview

John "Kit" McKittrick, recently freed from a Spanish Civil War prison thanks to a New York City cop's influence, returns home only to learn of a friend's apparent suicide. Sensing foul play, he delves into the mystery, interviewing three captivating women, one linked to his tumultuous past as a refugee. As Nazi agents close in, Kit discovers another friend's death, raising suspicions about the sinister Dr. Skaas lurking in the shadows.
