Overview

James Downey returns to Newfoundland for his mother's funeral, only to confront the unresolved family issues he hoped to escape. Once a police officer, he grapples with the inner turmoil stemming from his abusive father. Meanwhile, his cousin Danny has spiraled into a life of drugs, crime, and violence due to his own childhood trauma. As James navigates his troubled past, he must face both his identity and his cousin's destructive path, racing against time to intervene before it's too late.
