Overview

Xiao Hong, a timid 29-year-old employed at an aquarium fish shop, is dominated by his overbearing mother, who controls nearly every facet of his life. Seeking to break the cycle, his cousin introduces him to a gritty hotel managed by Sister Lele, who runs the local prostitution ring. This encounter thrusts Xiao into an unfamiliar world, challenging his sheltered existence and forcing him to confront his fears and desires. As he navigates this new reality, he must find the courage to assert his independence and redefine his identity.
